War in Israel, war in Gaza, war between Israel and Iran. Alex and Beni Funk live in the north of Israel. They experience all the tensions of war at first hand. They lead a life between the bunker and everyday life. I ask questions… I realize that German reporting on Israel has become quite one-sided. Beni has a lot of background knowledge and encourages us to take a more complex view of the topic. But the heart of the podcast is that we listen to a family that is tired of the war, that honestly reports on what is going on when the walls are shaking. Unadorned and honest.”
